A message from

Steph Tarter, MS, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice

In 2025, we celebrate the commitment of our nurses to excellence in patient care. Our focus has been on strengthening the foundation of nursing through education, training, and continuous professional development. By investing in these core principles, we ensure that every patient receives safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

We are proud of the incredible accomplishments achieved this year:
• Our ambulatory procedural unit nurses improved discharge workflows, streamlining processes to support better patient experiences and outcomes
• Nurses showcased their hospital-wide “Good Catch” initiative to improve patient safety at the regional Research and Innovation Conference
• Partnerships with community mass casualty events, demonstrating our readiness and leadership in emergency preparedness

To our nurses: thank you for leading the way. Your dedication, resilience, and leadership have been the driving force behind our success. Whether in direct patient care, in education and safety fairs, or in innovation efforts supporting Magnet, you embody the values that make nursing a cornerstone of healthcare.

Together, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence and to the communities we serve. Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and delivering care that truly makes a difference.
