A message from
A key initiative in 2025 was the launch of the RN Leadership Program, designed to strengthen nursing leadership and reinforce our commitment to safety and compliance. Through meetings and mentorship, RN leaders have received guidance and tools to support ongoing compliance requirements such as Physician Assistants Practice Agreements, Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures, and Standing Orders.
As I reflect on 2025, it was a year of advancing nursing excellence through accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Our RN leaders have played a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety — ensuring that compliance processes are not only met, but understood and embedded in daily practice. This proactive approach supports consistent, high-quality care and contributes to a safer environment for our patients and teams alike. Multiple teams including the ED, Cath Lab, IR and GI continue their Magnet work and are committed to excellence and patient safety.
In addition to the RN Leadership Program, we continued to promote professional development and clinical integrity across all nursing areas. Through education, communication, and shared learning, our teams have demonstrated a strong commitment to regulatory readiness, patient safety, and best practices in nursing care.
Looking ahead to 2026, we will continue building on this foundation by expanding leadership development and reinforcing compliance awareness across all disciplines. Together, we will strengthen our systems, empower our nurses, and continue to ensure that safety and compliance remain at the heart of nursing excellence.
