Several nursing ambassadors from the Fremont Medical Center EMPOWER Council proudly showcased their posters and presentations at the Research Innovation Academy (RIA) Conference held on May 14-15, 2025. It provided the nurses with an opportunity to highlight their evidence-based projects and demonstrated their public speaking abilities.
The 2025 RIA conference focused on advancing evidence-based practice (EBP) and nursing research by promoting the growth of nursing science and practice. It serves as a platform to share findings from research, EBP initiatives, and quality improvement projects, while enhancing knowledge of clinical research, EBP methodologies, and available resources.
This annual event provides a professional forum to discuss Kaiser Permanente’s evidence-based practice model, guiding effective evidence implementation. It also aims to foster partnerships and collaborations among clinicians, researchers, educators, and leadership, stimulating inquiry that identifies new nursing research and evidence implementation questions to further improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
