Kimberly Chisholm, MSN, RN (pictured at left) was presented with a “challenge coin” on Veterans Day. For Kim, these coins embody the significant milestones she achieved and the core values she upheld throughout her military service. They serve as a meaningful reminder of her dedication and accomplishments, reflecting the pride she takes in her dual roles as both a nurse and a veteran.

Erin Evans, BSN, RN (pictured above) shares, “I fulfilled my commitment to the Air Force after 17 years of service, including nine years on active duty, achieving the rank of Major. My work focused on Logistics and Combat Communications.” Holding the veterans coin, Erin honors a long-standing military tradition. These coins, often referred to as “challenge coins,” are more than just mementos, they are powerful symbols of honor and achievement within the armed forces.
