IMPACT’s Research & Evidence-Based Council is dedicated to fostering a culture of inquiry at the Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center. With two multi-site studies concluding in 2025, Research & Evidence-Based Council Chair-Elect Perla Santillan, MSN, RN, PHN, CCM, explored the best way to share research findings in a meaningful and engaging manner.
Santillan chose to lead by example by presenting the ReBrilliancy Study results at the annual IMPACT Consortium, the final professional governance celebration of the year. Her goal was to introduce research dissemination in a festive, positive setting to encourage engagement and reinforce the value of inquiry.
To highlight both completed studies, Quality & Safety Chair-Elect, Reichel Dizon, BSN, RN, joined Santillan to present the Healing Circles Study. Together, they shared replicable strategies and inspired future evidence-based research initiatives at KP San Leandro Medical Center.
