We honored Patient Care Coordinators with a Gratitude Tree, Spotlight Board, and birthday decor to recognize them. These simple yet powerful acts foster connection, recognition, and a culture of appreciation. Spotlighting individuals in a meaningful and engaging way has brought a renewed sense of excitement and collaboration to the team. By inviting the most recent spotlighted  nurse to choose the next honoree, we created a ripple effect of empowerment and ownership. This approach has not only boosted employee engagement but also fostered a deeper sense of connection among team members.

The process has become a fun, team effort where everyone feels included and valued as they help to select the next team member to celebrate and craft personalized questions for them to answer on the recognition boards. The spotlighted nurse also has the  opportunity to choose which photos they will share on the recognition boards, making the experience more personal and authentic. This blend of inclusiveness and autonomy has helped to create a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
