Ambulatory clinical rotations: Nursing student programs

Nursing student programs offer a range of opportunities that accommodate learners at various stages of their education.

The Department of Nursing and Clinical Practice has developed strong partnerships with educational institutions across the Central Valley to provide high-quality clinical experience for nursing students. Through these collaborations, the department supported placements for 272 students, contributing to their professional growth and helping cultivate the next generation of nursing talent in the region.

For the 2025 academic year, the nursing student programs continue to offer a range of ambulatory care opportunities that accommodate learners at various stages of their education.

The program includes:

  • 65 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) students
  • 130 Registered Nurse (RN) students
  • 7 Nurse Practitioner students
  • 2 Doctorate students

These clinical rotations are designed not only to enhance student learning but also to strengthen the nursing workforce by preparing knowledgeable and skilled professionals who are equipped to meet the evolving needs of the community.
