Janet Jule, DNP RN, NEA-BC, is the Regional Executive Director for Perioperative Services, Clinical Operations
She has oversight of regional perioperative initiatives focusing on Service and Care Experience including patient access to care, Operational goals to improve efficiency and throughput, surgical patient safety, and quality of care emphasizing prevention of “never events” and hospital-acquired conditions such as SSI, and affordability through standardization.
Janet has 29 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings and specialties including critical care, med-surg, perioperative environment, and administration.
Her most current experience includes serving in the role of a Chief Nurse Executive at KP Antioch for 8 years and serving as an interim COO for a year in 2019.
Prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente, she worked for not-for-profit hospitals including a 14+ year term at the Veteran’s Affairs Healthcare System in San Francisco as the Chief Nurse for Surgical and Procedural Care prior to transferring to Kaiser Permanente.
