Chief Nurse Executive, Roseville Medical Center
Debbie Reitter is the Chief Nurse Executive for Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Roseville. She has responsibility for all hospital nursing services, partners with medical center leaders, and is responsible for 2,250 nurses and associated health professionals that provide care to members at the 352-bed Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center.
Her career started 32 years ago at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA as a Labor and Delivery nurse, and in July 2000 she joined Kaiser Permanente. Debbie has held leadership positions within Kaiser Permanente as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Department Manager, Maternal Child Director and currently as Chief Nurse Executive.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and her master’s degree in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento. Debbie maintains her post-graduate Clinical Nurse Specialist license and in December 2021 achieved her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of San Francisco.
Debbie is known for her optimism and strives for excellence by creatively embracing challenges, utilizing evidence-based practice, and engaging front line staff to achieve goals collectively.
