Cherie Stagg has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2010 and brings more than 25 years of clinical and progressive nursing leadership to the Chief Nursing Executive role. Cherie is responsible for leadership and oversight of nursing practice for Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Vacaville.

Cherie holds a Bachelor of Science from Samuel Merritt-Saint Mary’s Intercollegiate College, Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Holy Names University, and Doctorate in Nursing Practice Executive Leadership from Duke University. She is also a board-certified nurse executive.

Cherie believes in fostering a culture of Family-Centered Care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and leadership mentoring and development. Her passion for nurse leader development and engagement is highlighted in her and her colleagues published doctoral quality improvement project in Nurse Leader titled Effects of Leader Empowerment: Implementing a Frontline Nurse Leadership Council (April 2023, Vol. 21, Issue 2).

Cherie is also an advocate for community service specifically children’s health and well-being, and currently sits on the board for Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club.
