Bridget Williams has been with Kaiser Permanente San Francisco since October 1999 in a variety of nursing leadership roles. Bridget has over 20 years of clinical and nursing leadership to the Chief Nurse Executive role. Bridget is responsible for leadership and oversight of nursing practice for Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco.
Bridget earned a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice Executive Leadership from Duke University. She is also a board-certified nurse executive.
Throughout her career, Bridget led many initiatives that resulted in improved patient outcomes and reduced incidence of hospital acquired conditions such as falls, pneumonia and other infections through frontline engagement and empowerment. Bridget’s other areas of focus and oversight include improved patient experience, increased quality performance, and advanced financial acumen through nursing leadership development.
