These initiatives were designed to provide staff with both physical nourishment and emotional support, ultimately enhancing overall morale.
Caring Cart Rounds cater to all shifts on the first Wednesday of every month. Each cart is filled with snacks and beverages, offering nurses quick relief during their busy shifts. The cart also highlights professional development opportunities like certification prep courses, mentoring programs, and recognitions like the DAISY Awards. This initiative also reminds nurses of available growth opportunities and celebrates their accomplishments, contributing to a positive and motivating work environment.
The monthly wellness classes focus on holistic well-being, covering topics that promote physical, mental, and emotional self-care. The wellness classes encourage a culture of care that extends beyond patient interactions, ensuring that nurses are supported in their personal health journeys.
