Garica has led the creation of the Geriatric Nurse Champions program, encouraging nurses Becky Nguyen, RN, Christina Taylor, RN, CMSRN, Tina Pham, BSN, RN, Venice Santos, BSN, RN, Stefanie Nastari, BSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA, Sherrie Domingo, BSN, RN, Mar Win, BSN, RN, CPH, Ayin Chang, BSN, RN, CCRN, Mike Ignacio, MSN, RN, Katherine Li, BSN, RN, Pearl Wilson, BSN, RN, and Peggy Zhao, BSN, RN to complete the Geriatric Resource Nurse (GRN) program through NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders). This initiative empowers nurses with advanced skills to provide exceptional care for older adults, directly improving clinical outcomes and enriching the patient experience.
Meister collaborates with ANMs and nurse managers across the SSF system to optimize patient flow, enhance throughput, and improve patient satisfaction. This role ensures timely, efficient, and compassionate care for all patients by streamlining care processes and addressing barriers from admission to discharge.
