Roseville Medical Center

A message from Liesel Buchner, DNP, MSN, RN, CNL
Associate Chief Administrative Officer
Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice
The Roseville TPMG team has had a remarkable year, showcasing significant achievements in ambulatory care and nursing excellence. These accomplishments underscore our commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care and setting new standards in professional nursing practice.
- Our nurses have upheld the highest standards of care focusing on continuous improvement, professional development, and compassionate service. This year, we made substantial progress towards achieving Magnet designation which signifies nursing excellence and high-quality patient care.
- We launched several impactful initiatives including enhancing patient engagement, integrating advanced healthcare technologies, introducing wellness programs for staff and expanding community outreach.
- The Roseville ED collaborated with community EMS providers to reduce EMS offboarding time, improving community safety.
- The Office of Nursing and Clinical Practice initiated a program to offer continuing education to nurses and allied health professionals.
- The orthopedics and podiatry departments implemented a nurse driven preventative health screening by offering in-clinic A1C blood draws, which significantly improved patient outcomes. One Vietnam veteran shared how this service led to immediate lifestyle changes resulting in better management of his HbA1c levels which contributes to better outcomes in the future. This initiative exemplifies the commitment to preventive, holistic care and addressing care gaps to enhance patient health.
“If you are planning to give birth at the Women and Children’s Center, trust me when I say you are in great hands. I felt like royalty, and I loved every single one of my nurses. Everything we needed the hospital provided and more. Thank you for a truly wonderful birthing experience!”
