A message from Nerissa del Rosario, MSN, RN
Director of Nursing and Clinical Practice

Reflecting on the events of 2024 fills me with immense pride and gratitude. The dedication, compassion, and professionalism of our nurses have been nothing short of exemplary. Despite the many challenges we faced, we rose to each one with resilience and grace.

This past year has been a testament to our commitment to nursing excellence, maintaining high quality of care, and prioritizing patient safety. Numerous nurse-led projects and initiatives such as Fall Prevention, Blood Culture Contamination Prevention, Rapid Intake and Treatment Area, Safety Fair, MOB PPE Education, Procedural Safety, and Renal Biopsy Recovery have resulted in remarkable patient outcomes and brought joy and meaning to the work that we do every day.  Our team’s engagement, collaborative spirit, and teamwork have been the cornerstone of our collective success. Each nurse has played a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.  I would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for their contributions, hard work, and the positive impact we have made on each other, our patients, and the communities we serve.

As we move forward, let us continue to support each other and build on the strong foundation we have established. Together, we will face new challenges and seize new opportunities with the same determination and passion that have brought us this far. I am truly honored to work alongside such an incredible team!

“During my recent hospital stay, I experienced the most compassionate and professional care I could ever imagine. From the moment I was admitted, the nurses went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. They didn’t just treat my medical condition, they cared for me as a person. Whether it was answering my questions with patience, offering a comforting word during a difficult moment, or ensuring I had everything I needed to feel at ease, their dedication was unwavering.”
