Extraordinary Nurse Award
The Extraordinary Nurse Award recognizes a registered nurse who exemplifies the vision of advancing the delivery of compassionate care and boldly transforming care to improve the health of our communities and nation. This nurse consistently displays behaviors supporting all 6 of the Kaiser Permanente nursing values.
Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award
The Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award recognizes a registered nurse in a formal leadership position at Kaiser Permanente who has consistently demonstrated outstanding nursing leadership.
Excellence in Professional Development Award
The Excellence in Professional Development Award recognizes a registered nurse who has made significant contributions to the professional development of others through activities such as development and evaluation of formal educational programs, facilitation of role development and practice transitions, and mentoring.
Excellence in Quality, Safety and Experience Award
The Excellence in Quality, Safety and Experience Award recognizes a registered nurse who has made significant contributions in the areas of safety and quality, resulting in improved outcomes for Kaiser Permanente patients and members.
Emerging Nurse Leader Award
The Emerging Nurse Leader Award recognizes an emerging nurse leader who has held a formal leadership position for less than 2 years and has displayed excellent leadership in support of the Kaiser Permanente nursing vision and values.
Excellence in Research/Evidence-Based Practice Award
The Excellence in Research/Evidence-Based Practice Award recognizes a registered nurse who has made significant contributions to expanding and strengthening nursing research and evidence-based practice at Kaiser Permanente.
Extraordinary Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Award
The Extraordinary Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Award recognizes the LVN/LPN who exemplifies the Kaiser Permanente nursing vision of advancing the delivery of compassionate care for our members and boldly transforming care to improve the health of our communities and nation. Friend of Nursing Award
The Friend of Nursing Award recognizes an individual (non-nurse) or department (non-nursing) who has shown significant support for the nursing profession at Kaiser Permanente and demonstrated effective collaboration to achieve improved outcomes at the medical center, regional, or national level.
